Employment of cardiovascular technologists and technicians, including vascular technologists, is projected to grow 22% from 2014 to 2024, significantly faster than the forecasted 7% average growth for all occupations. A variety of factors will contribute to the strong the Cardiovascular Technologist Job Outlook. As imaging technology evolves, medical facilities will use it to replace more invasive, costly procedures. Technological advances and less expensive equipment now allow more procedures to be done outside of hospitals.
